Thousands of runners and walkers, starting from Zappeion, spread the message that breast cancer can be beaten. VIANEX/VIAN employees participated in the 11th Greece Race for the Cure®. Also, the products ALTION and TONOTIL were promoted, within the framework of a sponsorship granted by the company.

Mr Dimitris Moraitis, General Manager of VIAN S.A., stated:

«VIANEX Group, owned by the Giannakopoulos family, and its 1,200 employees supported Greece Race for the Cure® for yet another year. Prevention and treatment of breast cancer is an issue that concerns every Greek family. Together –women, men, and the thousands of people working in pharmaceutical industry–, we have to deal with this significant threat of our times».

Funds collected from the race are directed to programmes implemented by the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer «Alma Zois», with the aim of providing psychosocial support to women facing breast cancer, as well as raising awareness among the general public regarding life-saving prevention strategies and the importance of early detection.
