The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, 10 July 2019, at Hotel Grande Bretagne; numerous representatives of the local business and political sector attended the ceremony. Attendees also included hundreds of business executives, representatives of the newly elected government and the opposition, as well as representatives of various organisations. The pharmaceutical company VIANEX was once again among the companies which received awards.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VIANEX, Mr Dimitris P. Giannakopoulos, accepted the award. Commenting on the recent acquisition of PHARMANEL S.A., as well as the future investments of VIANEX, Mr Giannakopoulos stated:

Recently, VIANEX Group acquired PHARMANEL S.A., with the aim of strengthening our position in the generics market. We plan to proceed to more acquisitions, as long as there is a stable and predictable overall framework for domestic pharmaceutical production».
